A restructures Battlefied: Heroes pricing; fans enraged

EA and DICE have dropped a bomb on fans of Battlefield: Heroes: the price for items using in-game currency has been jacked up, while the price for funds purchased using real cash has been lowered. The net change? Gamers now must pay to play with the same weapons they've been long enjoying for free, or they have to grind for hours to earn them. Heroes has become something it used to mock.

Elecontronic Arts and Dice Studios have officially postponed the PC beta of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 until early 2010.

EA spokesperson Gordon Van Dyke explained that the beta had been delayed to provide the studio with more "planning time" for the implementation of "optimizations."   In addition, the delay will allow Dice to ensure the participation of a maximum number of testers in the BFBC2 PC beta program.

Earlier this year, Thermaltake wowed us all with the announcement of the Level 10, a concept case designed in conjunction with BMW DesignWorks. Rather than a standard aluminum box, the Thermaltake Level 10 would incorporate a central pillar, with individual compartments hanging from it for the motherboard, PSU, optical drives, and hard drives.
